The Global SOF Foundation’s SOF for Life Career Center was created out of a simple but powerful need: to support the professional transitions of Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel, their families, and the broader community. Many service members face unique challenges when leaving active duty, and the SOF For Life Career Center was designed to bridge the gap between military service and civilian career success.
As GSOF listened to our members, it became clear that there was a demand for a centralized, trusted platform where transitioning SOF professionals could explore opportunities, employers could connect with highly skilled talent, and families could access resources to support their future. From that need, the SOF for Life Career Center was born.
What the Career Center Offers Individual Members
For individual members, the Career Center provides direct access to over 40,000 job postings worldwide, covering diverse industries, including aerospace, maritime, readiness, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), logistics and supply chain, cybersecurity, human resources, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) manufacturing, information technology, and academia, among others.
Beyond job listings, it serves as a hub for:
