Global Special Operations Forces Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information in our possession. On or about October 14, 2025, we learned that an unauthorized individual may have accessed a Global Special Operations Forces Foundation email account. Upon learning of the issue, we commenced a prompt and thorough investigation.
As part of our investigation, we have been working very closely with external cybersecurity professionals experienced in handling these types of incidents. Following a thorough forensic investigation and manual document review, it was discovered on or about July 9, 2026, that files may have been subject to unauthorized access and acquisition on or about October 14, 2025. These files contain personal information related to a limited number of individuals, including full name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, government-issued ID, non-US national ID number, date of birth, and medical information. Not all information was impacted for each individual.
While we have no indication that there has been any fraud or identity theft as a result of this incident, out of an abundance of caution commencing on July 15, 2026, Global Special Operations Forces Foundation notified individuals whose information was included in the files that may have been accessed by an unauthorized party. Notified individuals have been provided with best practices to protect their information.
Global Special Operations Forces Foundation understands the importance of safeguarding individual personal information. We remain fully committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information in our possession. Upon learning of the incident, we took immediate action to protect the individual personal information we maintain. Global Special Operations Forces Foundation continually evaluates and modifies its practices to enhance the security and privacy of personal information and is taking measures to augment its existing cybersecurity practices.
