On August, 24th 2021, The Honor Foundation (THF) held a Ribbon Cutting to announce the opening of their newest campus in support of the Special Operations soldiers and airmen serving at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. THF’s Campus is located in the picturesque landscape of the Sandhills area near Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and Whispering Pines, and is possible due to the extremely generous support of our partner–the Wounded Warrior Project. Many other organizations, such as the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, The Brief Lab, The Global SOF Foundation, and numerous other passionate individuals, have made this campus a reality!

Why Ft. Bragg?
Fort Bragg is home to the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), and several subordinate units. These Special Operations Forces (SOF) are comprised of some of the most elite members in the U.S. military; operators and support personnel who spend years in training for difficult and complex missions around the world. THF is proud and excited to serve these individuals with honor, for life, so their next mission is always clear and continues to impact the world!
The Honor Foundation was established to be a lifeline for the SOF community, supporting their successful transition from military service to civilian life. THF will “fill the gap” for the SOF community at Fort Bragg to ensure a smoother transition that leaves them feeling more fulfilled in their next chapters of life.
Meeting The Campus
The Honor Foundation’s comprehensive program includes helping identify one’s identity and purpose in their post-military endeavors; a dedicated People Team to help bridge the gap between employers and our program participants (called Fellows); tactical tools on topics such as LinkedIn, resumes and interview skills; camaraderie in a cohort filled with Fellows brothers and sisters; one-on-one executive style coaching; and support for life – even after they transition from the military.

“The Honor Foundation is thrilled to open our fifth campus in the Fort Bragg area and provide our tailored transition program to the men and women of the Special Operations community who deserve the best transition experience possible. The engagement and support from the surrounding communities has been instrumental in the campus success and I’m looking forward to seeing the exponential growth at this campus. I’d like to give a special thank you to our partner, the Wounded Warrior Project, for their full support in this new adventure,” said THF CEO, Matt Stevens.
The THF Fort Bragg campus will operate out of two main hubs: The Sandhills Community College and The Brief Lab offices in Southern Pines, NC. The first cohort began on August 30, 2021 and the next cohort will begin in late January, 2022.

It has been our greatest honor to serve thousands of transition SOF members over the last seven years and we look forward to serving thousands more in the years to come!
