Founded in 1944, Parsons is an engineering, construction, technical, and professional services firm with revenues of $3.1 billion in 2014. Parsons is a leader in many diversified markets with a focus on defense/security, industrial, and infrastructure.  Parsons delivers design/design-build, program/construction management, and other professional services packaged in innovative alternative delivery methods to federal, regional, and local government agencies, as well as to private industrial customers worldwide. We conquer the toughest logistical and technical challenges and deliver landmark projects across the globe. Today, more than 15,000 employees are engaged in executing more than 5,000 projects in 50 states and 29 countries around the world.  Our Defense Business Unit is a technology and innovation leader offering systems engineering, intelligence services, information technology, facility management, and environmental/energy solutions to our U.S. government customers worldwide. Our staff has supported space exploration, homeland security, defense, and other government agencies with cybersecurity, information assurance, and full-spectrum information operations, as well as facility optimization, critical asset protection, range management, Warfighter training, UXO cleanup, missile defense, contingency operations, and disaster relief. Parsons has provided infrastructure and environmental support to 300+ Department of Defense installations worldwide, destroyed 4,500+ tons of chemical weapons agents, provided technical support services to the FAA for 450+ airports worldwide, and planned, designed, and constructed 430,000+ facilities on 650 million acres. Whether supporting US Special Operations Command, Missile Defense Agency, conducting environmental restoration services at Military Ocean Terminal Concord, managing information- and cyber-related risks for the intelligence community, or providing PM/CM services to the General Services Administration for sustainable federal building design, construction, and O&M in Washington, D.C., we employ the right people with the right skills, security clearances, and training to meet our customers’ needs. Parsons’ excellence in meeting mission-critical expectations creates a safer world.

Strategic Relationships with Small Business

Parsons strives to develop strategic relationships with small businesses, providing opportunities in teaming and subcontracting under our federal programs.  To further such partnerships, the firm’s Small Business Program assists small firms in navigating potential procurement opportunities.  Over the past decade, Parsons has subcontracted work on federal contracts valued at more than $1.4 billion to SBs. In June 2015, Parsons received an award from the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) for exceeding the congressionally mandated goals for awarding contracts to veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs and SDVOSBs).
