Responsibilities:
- Ensure Corporate Partners maximize their GSOF membership benefits
- Maintain strong relationships with multiple points of contact at assigned Corporate Partners, facilitated through email, phone calls, visits, networking at events, and other opportunities as appropriate
- Proactively identify, establish, and cultivate high-value partnerships with local military units and government offices within the assigned territory to drive organizational objectives.
- Conduct annual strategy sessions with assigned Corporate Members
- Ensure accurate records of Corporate Partners in re:Members and Monday.com
- Facilitate business-to-business introductions among Corporate Partners
- Identify and share relevant business intelligence to assigned Corporate Partners (through meetings with relevant government and military offices/leaders, attendance at industry days or similar events, and regular networking with industry and government and military officials)
- Support “Partner Only” events such as Virtual Brown Bags, Virtual Corporate Spotlights, and Field Trips
- Manage assigned GSOF committee meetings, chairperson elections, records, and other projects
- Record Corporate Partner “touches” and instances of “returns on investment”
- Prepare annual Return on Investment reports for Corporate Partners
- Support the delivery of accurate and timely Corporate Partner renewal notices and ROI sheets
- Distribute event registration promo codes to Corporate Partners
- Distribute event registration lists to Corporate Partners (before an event occurs)
- Assist with recruitment of new Corporate Partners, i.e., setting up initial recruitment phone calls and following up with benefits of membership and talking points
- Attend and represent GSOF at relevant events
- Document workflow and procedures clearly and accurately; train staff as needed
- Support events as required (e.g., matchmaking, registration, customer service)
- Support Director of Partner Relations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior SOF / Military or SOF business experience is required
- Self-starter with proven experience navigating and managing relationships with government or military stakeholders
- Knowledge of information systems, including association databases, customer relationship management, data collection and analysis, and/or formal report development
- Self-motivated and proactive team leader with experience accomplishing prescribed goals with little or no supervision
- Experience handling high-volume, production-based projects, including prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details, effectively managing deadlines and multiple priorities
- Impeccable attention to ensure that all contractual commitments are met
- Willingness to learn and look for ways to improve processes to achieve greater efficiency in pre-, during, and post-planning phases. This involves taking the initiative to try new approaches and trusting one’s professional judgment
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively to express information in both written and oral contexts with customers, event attendees, team members, and vendors
- Strong writing skills and a proven track record of developing professional and effective communications
- Ability to work remotely with a fast-paced, dynamic team
