
Marc is a retired Command Sergeant Major with over 35 years of service in the U.S. Army and
Special Forces. He has extensive experience planning and leading operations ranging from the tactical to the strategic level. Marc served at every non-commissioned officer (NCO) level
culminating as the Command Sergeant Major for United States Army Special Operations
Command (USASOC)
He started his military career with the Army in 1987 as an infantry mortar-man. After graduating from the Special Forces Qualification Course in 1992, Marc was assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne). He served in positions of increasing responsibility including weapons sergeant, team sergeant, battalion operations sergeant major, company sergeant major, battalion command sergeant major and 3rd group command sergeant major/ SOCFWD-NWA His other assignments include the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where he served as battalion command sergeant major, 4th Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne). He later returned to USAJFKSWCS as commandant of the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy, the command senior enlisted leader of Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) and the Command Sergeant Major of United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).
He deployed multiple times throughout his career including Operations Desert Shield, Desert
Storm and Enduring Freedom (OEF). Marc also has multiple deployments to Africa and was
instrumental during Operation Noble Obelisk, noncombatant evacuation operations in Sierra
Leone and Uphold Democracy in Haiti.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis. He is the Director of Business Development for
Diversified- Federal focusing on supporting special operations. He also volunteers his time at the U.S. Army war college serving as a mentor to the nominative leader course.
Marc is an avid cyclist who enjoys participating in century rides. He also enjoys touring the
country by motorcycle with his wife, Mary Beth, of 36 years.
