
Colonel (Retired) Jay Santiago brings over three decades of service
and leadership to the intersection of defense, technology, and
special operations. As Director of Business Development for Army
and Combatant Commands at World Wide Technology (WWT), Jay
leads a team responsible for driving mission-aligned growth across federal and
defense sectors. His efforts are focused on delivering strategic clarity, aligning
advanced technology solutions to operational requirements, and enabling the field
sales teams to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of warfighters—especially
those operating at the tactical edge.
Since joining WWT in 2011, Jay has held multiple leadership roles, consistently
championing vertical integration, innovation, and outcome-based engagement
across the Department of Defense. He plays a pivotal role in aligning WWT’s
capabilities with the modernization priorities of SOF and conventional forces alike,
including initiatives in cyber operations, secure communications, and data-centric
mission support.
Jay was also the President of the Shadow Warrior Association, a nonprofit dedicated
to supporting the SOF communicator community through STEM and non-STEM
scholarships. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and
impact, providing tangible support to the families of those who serve in the
shadows.
A career Army officer and communicator, Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Electronics from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Information
Management and Computer Resources from Webster University. Graduate
certificate in Western Hemispheric Security from the Inter-American Defense
College and a CIO Certifications from the National Defense University. His 30-year
military career included global assignments supporting joint and special operations
missions.
Jay’s passion for service, both in and out of uniform, is centered on a simple
principle: empower those who defend our freedom with the tools, trust, and
technology they need to succeed—anywhere, anytime.
