
Jay F. Lovelace retired from the U.S. Army as a Command Sergeant Major as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to Special Operations Command Central and U.S. Central Command with twenty-seven years of military experience in training execution, leadership development, performance counseling and personnel management.
He has experience in Human Resource Management; International Policies and Foreign Relations (Spanish Speaker); and Security Operations to include Force Protection and Counter Terrorism. He has supervised budget preparation, mission planning, and execution of special compartmented operations from the tactical to strategic levels with the Army and Joint Operations with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of State. Extensive operational experience from organizing and supervising implementation of Joint Training in the Middle East, Africa, Central America, South America and the Caribbean Islands.
He has worked with the Central and South American U.S. Embassies’ Regional Security Offices in support of military operations in the United States Southern Command and United States Central Command areas of responsibility. Participated in humanitarian and combat operations around the world allowing him the opportunity to live and work in multiple and austere environments while conducting operations.
He provided risk analysis and prescriptive decision-making
support experience with Service Members to ensure risk mitigation strategies are part of their planning efforts against potentially disruptive conditions or catastrophic events within an operational area (defined by event probability versus consequence).
He has had the unique opportunity to work with the worlds’ best Special Operations Forces and SOF individuals.
Jay Lovelace retired from the U.S. Army in 2004 and began working at
USSOCOM providing operational support to sensitive activities operations in support of the Geographic Combatant Commanders’ operations and initiatives.
Jay Lovelace is married to Lisa and they have two sons that also live in the
Tampa, Florida area.
