
Brig. Gen. (Res.) Eyal Rozen
Brigadier General (Res.) Eyal Rozen is a member of the Global Special Operations Forces Foundation (GSOF) Board Advisory Council and a senior Israeli defense leader with over 30 years of command experience across combat operations, warfighting, and multi-domain force employment.
During his IDF career, Rozen held successive command and senior leadership roles from Fire Support Officer in an infantry brigade through Battery and Battalion Command, to senior Fires Commander at divisional and Regional Command levels. He served as Commandant of the IDF School of Artillery and later led the Fires Targeting Center of the IDF Southern Command in reserve duty.
Rozen is recognized for his operational leadership in high-intensity environments and his expertise in the fusion of intelligence, cyber, and advanced ISR capabilities with precision fires across air, land, and maritime domains. He specializes in accelerating targeting cycles, integrating multi-source intelligence into kinetic effects, and leading adaptive operational systems under extreme tempo and uncertainty.
Internationally, he commanded the Israeli side of the IDF–U.S. EUCOM “Juniper Cobra” exercise and served as Israel Defense Attaché in Washington, D.C., where he led strategic defense cooperation with the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, SOCOM, and allied partners. He was awarded the U.S. Legion of Merit (Officer Degree) for his service and contribution to bilateral defense cooperation.
Following his military service, Rozen has held senior leadership roles in defense and technology sectors, leading international security projects across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, advancing humanitarian initiatives in energy and agriculture, and serving as Co-Founder and Vice President of a cybersecurity academy operating across Israel, the United States, and EMEA.
He holds an LL.B. and B.B.A. from Reichman University and MBA in Entrepreneurship, and completed advanced military and professional education in Israel and the United States, including the U.S. Army Artillery Advanced Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
His expertise spans counter-terrorism, joint fires and targeting, intelligence-driven operations, international defense cooperation, and leadership of complex, high-stakes organizations and missions.
Rozen is married to Anat, a former school principal and mathematics teacher, and is the father of three adult children: Roni, Roei, and Noam.
