Abbey Knudsvig is currently the SOF Week Events Manager for the Global SOF Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Abbey held the role of Senior Protocol Officer for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in addition to serving as a Protocol Specialist with the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). Additionally, Abbey oversaw the base Community Center as the Lead Director with the 1st Special Operations Wing, focusing on developing and executing community-wide events and programs with an emphasis on supporting Single Airmen stationed at Hurlburt Field.
Abbey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership. She brings over 9 years of event planning experience as well as time spent as a military spouse. She enjoys golfing, cooking/baking and holding down a chair poolside. She lives in Florida with her daughter and husband, who previously served with AFSOC.
